Bruckland SCRAN recycling centre

Bruckland SCRAN recycling centre

Centrally located at the Hillswick/Ollaberry junction, NCDC's Bruckland SCRAN recycling centre is a place where surplus household goods can be left or collected for re-use, where scrap metal and waste plastic can be disposed of, and many a carbon footprint reduced.

It will be run by volunteers although a Nortenergy staff member will be available to oversee collection and disposal. Members of the scheme will pay £60 a year for use, and there will be a one-off £10 charge for non-members, as well as a donations scheme for those who find something to take away they can use!

We’re hoping that some kind of collection system will be in place for large household objects that the owners can’t move. For more information and details of what can and can't be recycled, call NCDC at 01806 544222, or keep checking back at this website or the Facebook page.
