Kelly Robertson
Kelly is based in Ollaberry and creates beautiful one off pieces using mixed media, paint and ink. Her paintings and drawings are inspired by the amazing Shetland landscape and seascape.
Her pieces come in a range of sizes and she also does commissions.
Olach Designs
Mandy is based in Ollaberry and designs her own patterns which you can find online. Mandy’s designs include cowls, gloves, hats, tunics, sweaters and cardigans; you’ll be sure to find something to knit for either yourself or a friend. Mandy designed the fantastic Kale Yard Beanie for our Growing Local Project. You can purchase the pattern from our online shop.
Merla Designs
Lauren creates a wonderful range of handmade home décor and decorations. She also takes commissions. Available locally in the Ollaberry Shop. She runs creative workshops, keep an eye on her social media channels.
Kokkiloorie
Franzi is based in Ollaberry, and makes accessories for young and old. You can get peerie coin purses, pouches, for various purposes, hanging decorations, cuddly toys, bairns hats and individual commissions. Available locally in the Ollaberry Shop.
The Pottery, North Roe
Sharon makes beautiful handmade buttons, plates, bowls, mugs, jugs and gifts in natural organic shapes influenced by the colours, wild places and traditions of Northmavine. Available locally in the Hillswick Shop

Home to ethically sourced crystals and beautiful fairy gifts, all of which are lovingly handmade and infused with Reiki.
Esmé Wilcock – Made by Shetland
Local silversmith Esmé creates completely unique silver and gold pieces inspired by Shetland’s sea and shore.
John’s Workshop
John creates a mixture of functional and artistic handcrafted pieces from reclaimed wood. He makes benches, milking stools, shelves, tables, and home decor items. He’s also available to make commissions.
Good Gub Soap
Based in Hillswick, Alison creates a range of small batch soap. Using glycerin, Good Gub Soap comes in a variety of scents, perfect for men or women and a great stocking filler. There is even one that looks like an orca! Available locally in the Hillswick Shop.
