Hjaltland Housing Association
Hjaltland Housing
Association Ltd is a non-profit making organisation and is
the main independent housing agency in the Shetland Islands.
Its primary function is to provide and manage housing for people
in housing need. Hjaltland Housing Association works in conjunction
with the local authority, Shetland Islands Council, enterprise
companies and others to generate and develop sustainable communities.
Hjaltland Housing Association acts as agents for Rural
Home Ownership Grants. These grants are provided by Communities
Scotland for first-time builders.
