HEARD is a voluntary group who are trying to promote the revitalisation of the social and built heritage of the Hillswick and Eshaness area. The area also includes Assetter, Heylor and Hamar. The aim is to make it a desirable place to live and work and it is hoped that this will encourage young people and families to remain resident in the parish.

Projects include oral history, restoration of Cooch Kettles, bulb planting, etc.
