Faa, North Roe
FAA is 3 bedroomed house which sleeps 6, situated in North Roe,
at the northernmost end of mainland Shetland. North Roe is an
area of outstanding natural beauty, with excellent coastal and
hill walks and a choice of two beaches within easy walking distance.
The wildlife is varied and plentiful - an otter is known to live
locally and seals are frequently seen in the voe. The property
sits in the lee of the hill and is surrounded by a large garden
which has lawns and a selection of trees and bushes providing
valuable cover and food for numerous birds. All the adjoining
land is crofted and regularly used by livestock.
The single-storey accommodation is generously proportioned, furnished
in a contemporary style and finished to a high standard and consists

glazed throughout with oil-fired central heating. Very large enclosed
garden with ample parking.

Simmer dim at Faa. Simmer dim is the midsummer twilight
when you can read a newspaper in the garden at midnight.
